Wumbology was my senior project show along with other art majors that were graduating in the spring of 2019. Below are photos of the final works I created and after are images of the creation processes.
This project focused on my emotional intelligence from middle school vs. now. When I was younger, advertisements hurt my self esteem from diet pills, workout machines, and acne products. The silk screen images on advertisements and large framed photograph represent that time of my life while the plaster casting of my leg and arm represent how I feel today. I will have my ups and downs but overall the decision of beauty and look is in your own hands and you decide what is beauty is. Thank you to AJ who represents me in these images and to all of my amazing classmates and professors I have met over the years.
